From Jane Lindsay
So very sorry to hear the new of Janet's passing, after such a time of suffering. She was a great friend whom I met through the Ladies fellowship. Praying for peace and comfort in your hearts that she's now with her maker and our Lord.
Let not your hearts be troubled, you believe in God; believe in me also. My Father's house has many rooms, if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am. You know the place where I am going.
John 14: 1 - 10.

I'm thinking of you all and remembering your lovely Mum. We worked together for a few happy years in a very successful infant school - Parsonage Farm. Janet was so wise and professional, she supported us all, and we strove to give as much as she did. Our friendship endured and together with your Dad and my late husband, we shared happy times together. It is a while since I saw Janet (I don't drive far afield now) but we had long telephone conversations. Mum was so accepting of how various health problems so brave and positive. What wonderful memories we all have and what a role model for us all.

It was with much sadness that we learned of the very recent death of Janet. Like Francis, she dedicated much of her later life to Raglan Baptist Church, which she served in many different ways over a long period of time. Our memories are coloured not only by her helping Sam to read in Sunday School, but also by her clear minded and objective minute taking in Leader's Meetings. We hope and pray that her reconciliation with Francis, will reflect the Christian love and commitment they both brought to our church.
